Corrections

King James Bible Fellowship welcomes specific reports of possible errors so that Scripture display, source material, factual claims, interpretation, directory information, and website behavior can be checked against the appropriate evidence.

What may be reported

  • Scripture display or verse references
  • Historical quotations or source transcription
  • Source attribution
  • Factual or historical claims
  • Original analysis or interpretation
  • Broken or incorrect links
  • Church-directory information
  • Technical problems

What to include

Please use the Contact page and include:

  • The URL of the page
  • The word, passage, statement, source, link, or listing involved
  • What appears to be incorrect
  • The correction you recommend
  • A supporting source or image, when available

Contact information is optional unless you would like a reply.

How reports are handled

A report is checked against the relevant King James Bible text, cited source, preserved source record, public listing information, or other appropriate evidence. Submitting a report does not guarantee that the suggested change will be adopted, and no response-time promise is made.

Substantive corrections

When a substantive correction is made to original editorial material, publication or review information is updated where appropriate. Dates are not changed for template-only, formatting-only, or automated activity.

Quoted historical source material is corrected to match the identified source. It is not silently converted into a paraphrase while continuing to be presented as a quotation.

Church-directory updates

Changes to a church's address, service times, Bible position, contact information, website, or other listing details should be submitted through the dedicated church-update page so the supporting information can be reviewed with the listing.

Appearance in the directory does not by itself imply institutional endorsement by King James Bible Fellowship.
